Symphony welcomes pianist Hugh Sung on January 24th
Monday, January 5th, 2009On Saturday evening January 24 at 8:00, at the Abington Junior High School, the Old York Road Symphony will feature pianist Hugh Sung, performing the Grieg Piano Concerto. Mr. Sung has been an active soloist and chamber musician since his debut with The Philadelphia Orchestra at the age of 11. Two years later, he was accepted for studies at the Curtis Institute of Music, where his principal teachers included Eleanor Sokoloff, Jorge Bolet, and Seymour Lipkin, along with Karen Tuttle and Felix Galimir for chamber music.
