Models will sashay across the stage of the renovated Hiway Theatre in Jenkintown Sunday, February 10 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the region’s first ever, community bridal show. Sponsored by the Jenkintown Community Alliance and Hennessey May’d Bridal, the event will showcase custom made wedding gowns as well as products and services from 20 local merchants spanning photographers, caterers, salons, florists and jewelers. The event is the first of its kind to provide the public access to the full range of bridal service in one place at one time. Registration includes food tastings from caterers as well as chair massages and hair treatments from local salons. One lucky bride will walk home with one of the gowns worn by the models valued at $7,000. Tickets start at $6.00 in advance or $10.00 at the door. In February,The Hiway Theater invites you to celebrate the First Anniversary of the historic theater’s reopening with a new film series : Road Trips and Amazing Journeys. The series will run February 15 – 21st.
It will include independent and studio films as well as repertory selections, to be announced in the coming weeks.
