Take a glimpse of Jenkintown’s most elegant and beautiful homes. On Saturday, November 15 from 4:00-7:00 PM friends of the Jenkintown Library present House Tour 2008. In addition to fabulous Jenkintown houses, this year’s tour features the Episcopal Church of Our Saviour (COOS), an architectural and artistic treasure in Jenkintown. Founded in 1858 by William Henry Newbold, it stands at the corner of Old York and Homestead Roads on land that once was occupied by the Newbold estate.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door.The ticket price includes trolley service throughout the tour and a wine and cheese reception at its conclusion. The tour begins and ends at the Jenkintown Library, 460 Old York Road. To conserve paper, advance purchase tickets will be distributed at the event.
