I Love a Parade

Looking for something to do to celebrate the Fourth of July? Look no further than your own backyard. The Jenkintown Volunteer Fire Department is proud to sponsor the 45th Annual 4th of July Parade this Friday, July 4th starting at 10:30 AM.

Parade highlights include fire trucks, bands, and various luminaries from local community groups. Last but not least will be the parade of decorated bikes, strollers and wagons where you and your family can be part of the festivities! Any child riding a bike will need to wear their safety helmet. At the end of the parade, prizes will be awarded in the Town Square for best decorated stroller, wagon, and bike (includes tricycles too). Hot dogs will be served, games will be played and a fun time will be had by all!

The parade route will begin on Summit Ave in front Borough Hall, proceed north on Leedom Street, west on Hillside Avenue, south on Walnut Street, then on to West Avenue and commence at Town Square.
