Trash is ugly, but it does more than spoil the natural beauty of our environment. Trash and pollutants leaching from our trash can enter our storm water system and our drinking water. Garbage also causes injuries and harms wildlife, and it’s removal can cost tax dollars that could be put to better uses. These are EXCELLENT reasons to volunteer for the Jenkintown’s Clean-up Day.

On Saturday, May 31, Green Jenkintown will organize a Clean-Up Day from 9am - 12 pm rain or shine. and will meet at the Gazebo in Town Square. Please wear gloves and protective clothing. For further information contact Elizabeth Boyd at elizabeth.boyd@greenjenkintown.org
