Come Celebrate the Season – Jenkintown Holiday Shopping Nights

Visit Jenkintown this holiday season for a unique shopping, dining, tasting, caroling, Santa-visiting, movie-viewing, karate-kicking, flower-buying, chair-massaging, framing, cupcake-loving experience! Jenkintown shops and restaurants will be open later than usual this holiday season to accommodate your hectic schedule.

Most Jenkintown shops will be open until 9:00 PM on Wednesdays starting after Thanksgiving. The first night of our Holiday Shopping Nights will be November 30th, continuing through December 7th, December 14th and December 21st.

Browse our local shops while enjoying treats such as a chair massage at Blue Body and Home, and mulled wine and delicious English treats at An English Country Garden. Decorate your own cupcakes at Velvet Sky Bakery, take home one-of-a-kind FREE black and white photos of our beloved Jenkintown train station at Jenkintown Hobby Shop, enjoy bridal consultations for your pending nuptials at Hennessy May’d, sample delicious chocolates at Breslin’s Consignment Corner and browse for unique treasures for yourself. While you are enjoying all of this, your children can learn fun FREE karate moves at Empty Hands Karate. And to think, this is just some of the sampling, tasting and demonstrating that you will be able to enjoy in one immediate area as over 25 merchants will be open late with in-store promotions and mini-events.

If you still don’t know what to get your son’s new girlfriend, the dog walker or your children’s 13 teachers, the JCA has developed an overall Jenkintown Gift Certificate. (Please see page 2 for more details on this new program as well as where to purchase the gift certificates).
